Anthony Latino Jr.

anthony-latinoMy passion for computers really started when I was about 10 years old. My parents bought us a brand new Packard Bell Computer. It immediately grabbed my attention and from there grew an immense thirst for knowledge and understanding. It lead to many long nights of opening up computer cases to reading online tech forums to learn as much as I possibly could.  In 1998, I decided I wanted to turn my passion into a career. From there I made sure to enroll in as many high school computer courses as I possibly could. It was there I learned that there are many different areas I could dive into. First, I tried basic data processing and typing. That lost my interest very quickly but did help me develop my typing skills. From there I decided to try computer engineering & drafting. Eh, that wasn’t quite for me either. Next up was graphics design. I did like some of this but later came to the conclusion it wasn’t the only thing that could hold my interest long enough to make it a life long job. In 2000, I was able to get myself into a website design course that really made an impact on me. I finally had a class that I really enjoyed! Turning code into awesome functional information! Wow! Hours of code can become something shown on the world wide web? I can really make an impact here. In spite of the fun I was having coding website something else was holding my interest even. I continued to rip computers apart at home daily. Building and learning how each part worked. I was learning how to make improvements to the computers speed and functionality.  This seemed to be my strong suit and what I enjoyed the very most. I then got onto the internet to see what careers revolved around this skill-set. I came to find out that Computer Technicians had all the fun! I made sure to find myself a College that offered hardware repair teachings. I decided that York Technical Institute was the best choice for myself. Not only would I be able to focus primarily on computer course but would also graduate with a business degree.
